As with any accounting software program, installation and training take time, time that is lost in running your business. This is a short list of services we provide during QuickBooks setup:
- Study and evaluate your software and accounting needs.
- Recommend software and hardware requirements.
- Install the software, design and set up the chart of accounts and the complete accounting package, including payroll, accounts receivable, inventory, accounts payable, etc.
- Determining the QuickBooks Start Date
- Upload your chart of accounts and balances as of that start date
- Prepare a list of the items you sell to your customers. This list includes services, stock parts, non-stock parts, other charges, and sales tax.
- Enter the details of your accounts receivable and accounts payable outstanding as of your start date
- Enter bank balances from your final statement and outstanding checks and deposits in transit as of your start date
- Print a trial balance from your start date and compare it to your trial balance from your old system
- Enter your transactions from their start dates in QuickBooks
- Train the client or client personnel in the use of the software to meet their accounting, management, and tax needs.
